Courses & Workshops
All courses and workshops offered are based on the skills of mindfulness and compassion (known universally as Mindfulness Based Interventions- MBI’s) which is learning to respond to life rather than react (see Stress & Self Care Section). Mindfulness and Compassion are often quoted as ‘two wings of a bird’, both are necessary to live life fully, or we go in circles.
Courses are more compassion-based (the emphasis is more on the skills of compassion) or more mindfulness-based (emphasis is more on the skills of mindfulness). The full 8-10 week, gold-standard self-care courses offered meet the standards of the research trials that demonstrate the benefits of these interventions. Courses and workshops can be tailored to your needs and requests, after consultation. The range of services here may range from 1-4 hour sessions to 60-90 min weekly sessions for 4-6 weeks.
