Introduction to Mindfulness

4-6 Session Mindfulness Course

Mindfulness is a practice that centres on connections between the brain, mind, body and behaviour.

“You don’t have to be a Buddhist or a ‘yogi’ to practice it… It is simply a practical way to be more in touch with the fullness of your being, through a systematic process of self-observation, self-inquiry, and mindful action.” -Jon Kabat-Zinn

Whenever you bring awareness to what you’re directly experiencing via your senses, or to your state of mind via your thoughts and emotions, you’re being mindful, practicing mindfulness.

There is growing research showing that when you train your brain to be mindful, you’re actually remodelling the physical structure of your brain.
